Pneumatic ball valve


Pneumatic ball valve is mainly used to cut off or connect the medium in the pipeline, and can also be used for fluid regulation and control. Compared with other valves, it has the following advantages.
1. The fluid resistance is small, ball valve is one of the smallest in all kinds of valves, even the reduced ball valve, its fluid resistance is quite small.
2. The thrust bearing can reduce the friction torque of the valve stem and make the valve stem operate smoothly and flexibly for a long time.
3. The sealing performance of the valve seat is good. The sealing ring made of elastic materials such as polytetrafluoroethylene is easy to seal. Moreover, the sealing capacity of ball valve increases with the increase of medium pressure.
4. The sealing of the valve rod is reliable. Since the valve rod only acts as if it is rotating rather than lifting, the packing seal of the valve rod is not easy to be damaged, and the sealing capacity increases with the increase of medium pressure.
5. Because PTFE and other materials have good self-lubricating property and little friction loss with the ball, the service life of ball valve is long.
6. The bottom mounted valve stem and the convex step at the head of the valve stem can prevent the valve stem from ejecting out. If the valve rod seal is damaged due to fire, metal contact can be formed between the convex step and the valve body to ensure the valve stem seal.
7. Anti static function: spring is set between the ball, valve stem and valve body, which can export the static electricity generated in the switching process.
working principle
When the pneumatic actuator is connected with the circuit and the air source of the system, the air enters the a cylinder (b cylinder) through the pipe a or B, which pushes the piston to move towards one end, thus driving the rotating shaft and ball core to rotate 90 degrees.
The top of the pneumatic actuator is connected with a visualizer. When the green sign points to "on", the valve is opened.
The valve is in the open position when the signal light is green, while it is in the closed position when the red light is on.
The positioner can adjust the valve pipe flow.
